In Desperate Need of a Hobby

I am failing miserably at becoming one with California and getting on with my life here.

I need a hobby.

All people do around here is outdoor stuff ie. hiking, biking, surfing, etc.

I don't mind hiking...but I'm not gonna do it ALONE.

My husband is gone.

Again.

And I don't know what to do with myself.

There's only so much fixing up the house I can stand.

I need a hobby.

A hobby that takes me outside of the home.

Anyone have any brilliant hobby ideas?

  1. I love running into local bloggers! I live just north of San Francisco in Sonoma County. If you ever want to do a little wine tasting, its fabulous up here... that can be a hobby, right? :)

  2. Last year, I learned how to crochet. Or, at least how to fake crochet using a loom. It's fun, and I made a bunch of scarves for people last year for the holidays. Not sure how useful it'll be this year, though. :-)

  3. I think you should become a yoga instructor. You'd be a sexy little yogi. :-) and sorry if I don't comment often.. I read blogs mostly on my breaks at work, and my work computer won't let me comment on yours as myself, only as "Anonymous"... but I'm reading every one! Even if I can't comment often. :-)

  4. Yoga, Wine drinking (with groups of course), going to the gym in general, taking the cats for a walk on a leash (hey, its Cali), Sewing, Cooking, write a book...any of that sound appealing or do you need more?
